The Powhatan Farmstand Trail is organized by Brooks Bread Co. and features a group of local farm stands around Powhatan coming together for a slow, autumn Saturday built around community, back roads, and supporting small local stands.

Here’s how it works:

• Visit each participating stand

• Make a purchase at each stop

• Get your punch card marked along the way

Once your card is filled, at the last stand you visit be sure to get it photographed for entry to win a gift basket filled with goodies from all of the stands

But honestly, this day is about even more than the giveaway. It’s about taking the scenic route. Meeting the folks behind the stands. Filling your car with flowers, fresh eggs, honey, bread, homegrown produce, and little things you didn’t know you needed until you found them along the way. Getting the chance to meet the owners, ask questions, and spend the day visiting each stop is what’s going to make this feel so special.

In October we will have bouquets, some produce, pumpkins and small pumpkin arrangements!
